BREW Introduction & Development In Indonesia

Partnership with Qualcomm in 2005, Jatis Mobile, the first Authenticated BREW Developer in Indonesia , start to involved deeply introducing BREW in Indonesia . We participate on 3G Worldwide BREW trials with Music Player application and conduct BREW seminar in local universities.

In 2008, with full support from Qualcomm, we conduct Creative Summer, a roadshow of Seminar & Workshop at 5 leading Universities in Java, June 12 th – 24 th 2008.

The Seminar & Workshop followed by establishing the BREW Development Center on August 14, 2008 for those universities. For the best result, the roadshow also open a BREW Application Competition, which ended in a Celebration Party for the 21 Finalists and awarding the Winners on December 5th, 2008. Our next step is to conduct BREW trainings for lecturer in those universities, by our certified trainers in 2009, since Jatis Mobile has been established by Qualcomm as BREW Authorized Training Partners in Indonesia.Together with Qualcomm we are also preparing the launch of BMP (BREW Mobile Platform) in mid 2009.

BREW Service In Indonesia

Since 2005 Jatis build & provide BREW applications and contents such as News, Games, Office/Corporate, Education, Health Care, Entertainment, Games, etc. All applications and contents built are applicable for ZTE, Huawei, Nokia, Samsung, Motorola, HiSense, Haier handsets, and more to come.

In December 18th 2007, Mobile-8 launch b-live, the first BREW services in Indonesia with Jatis as Master Aggregator, providing one stop solutions of:

• Aggregating BREW applications & contents, including porting & localization.
• Developing Content Browser & other BREW applications.
• Operation & maintenance for CMS (Content Management System).
• Billing System & Integration.
• Web-based real-time Traffic Report for powerful business analysis.

In December 2008, Jatis start to provide static pre-loaded BREW applications for Bakrie Telecom (Esia) with Huawei handsets. We provide applications & contents for thematic featured handsets, Hape Kasih and Hape FU, and some default content browser applications, with CMS, Billing System, and web-based real-time Traffic Report.
